Ellen Y Mueller

Ellen Y. Mueller is an American writer who was raised in the Midwest. She is a retired physician and surgeon who worked in the medical field for nearly three decades. Before that, she was an active duty member of the USAF. While there, she worked in a military hospital.

From the time she was a child, she loved books and invented stories. When she was ten-years-old, she once read fifty books in a month-long, library bookathon challenge. Now she writes books for both teens and adults.

When Ellen’s not writing, she reads, enjoys guitar music, goes to car shows, and mentors other writers who dream of seeing their books in print. She’s been a member of the Northwest Arkansas Writer’s critique group, and Arkansas Ridge Writers for several years. She has made her home in Arkansas with her husband, four cats and two dogs.
