I could never decide, for sure, what I was going to be when I grew up. I wanted to be an artist, then a farmer. The farming worked out pretty good. I have farmed most of my life, Peanuts, Bell Pepper, Squash, Collards,Poinsettias, Garden Mums Quail, Rabbits, Pigs, Cows, Children, and Grandchildren. I even taught school long enought to get a little retirement check. No one cold have had a better life. I grew up on this farm and I am shrinking on this farm. Collecting stories and useless ephemra has been a pasttime all of my life. I had a good start, my family has been on this farm since 1865. Lots of stories, lots of memories, lots of usless stuff. So now I am telling stories......
