Rick Hershey is a veteran writer, illustrator, and game designer with over 25 years in the creative industry. As the founder of Kids in the Attic and Fat Goblin Games, Rick has contributed to hundreds of tabletop roleplaying games, comics, and fiction projects. His work blends folklore, horror, and fantasy with a sharp eye for human struggles and mythic storytelling.

A lifelong creative, Rick’s work often explores the spaces between truth and legend, drawing inspiration from history, gritty rural landscapes, and forgotten voices. He lives in South Carolina with his wife and four children, where he writes, draws, and creates.
