Vicki Johnson

Vicki Johnson’s debut picture book Molly's Tuxedo (Little Bee Books, 2023) illustrated by Gillian Reid, received multiple accolades, including an NCTE Charlotte Huck Award Recommendation and inclusion on the ALA Rainbow Book List, the Top Ten Children's Book Council Teacher Favorites list, and multiple state children's choice awards lists.

Johnson's next book from the same creative team, Mac Wears A Hat, is available for pre-order now, and releases on April 28, 2026.

She's a Southern writer who lives in New England, where she tends to her rescue animals and college kid.
