Max A. Hunter

Max "Diego" Hunter, PhD, is a bioethicist, cultural strategist, and public health architect operating at the nexus of institutional policy, narrative coaching, and community health. Formed by the urban landscapes of Southern California and Washington, D.C., during the War on Drugs, his work bridges high-level academic theory with street-level public health realities.An alumnus of Harvard and the University of Washington, Dr. Hunter holds degrees in the history of science, bioethics, and educational leadership. He is the founder of The Bricoleur Collective—housing intellectual frameworks like Wit and the Brooklyn Lore Collective—and directs the Coast-to-Coast Pre-Medical Society. He also serves as President of the Harvard Black Alumni Society (Seattle). A polymath who lives and moves in multiple spaces, he leads community health initiatives across Seattle's Central District, Mount Baker, and Columbia City while remaining a dedicated soccer parent, epicurean, and Alki Beach local.
