"The Air of Millennia," a collection from three poetry cycles: 1993; 1993-1996; and 2009-2012. The first took place in Florida, New York; the second in Buffalo, New York; and the third in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This book is a real hodge podge of languages, yet each poem is staunchly mine. Influenced by college attendance at the State University of New York, and the exotic location of Newfoundland, Canada, forty years ago, and my Grandmother Mary A. Kimiecik, (long passed) I've been translating English to English ever since.
Forthcoming is the first of a series of ten small books for the general public about how to collect your own, your family's, and community folklore for modern needs: to identify what humans have in common. Both the Black Dirt region and Newfoundland and Labrador, are included.
