Eldonie Mason

Eldonie Mason is a native of the Caribbean Island of Antigua. She is also a licensed attorney and an entrepreneur. The idea for “The Adventures of Princess Anyah of Antibarba” came about when Eldonie’s 5-year-old niece, who was visiting her for the Summer, said that she could not be a princess because all of the princesses were white and have long hair. Eldonie’s heart broke. Eldonie then sprang into action and wrote a tale of a Black princess who had short hair and went on adventures. Eldonie’s niece was very happy to hear the story and the book series was born! Eldonie enjoys watching animated films, hiking, cooking and taking her niece on fun adventures. She currently lives in New Jersey.
