Shannon Buritz

Graduating summa cum laude from Aurora University in 2005, Shannon earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and started a career in Case Management with the State of Illinois. She used her writing talent to create detailed reports to aid clients in achieving developmental milestones, even drafting forensic reports for use in court proceedings.

Shannon's enthusiasm for helping others and her ability to articulate complex ideas through writing soon found a new outlet. Today, she is the Chief Editor at Remarkable Press where she has assisted more than 600 busy entrepreneurs in becoming published authors, enabling them to share wisdom, accelerate business growth, and leave legacies.

Shannon currently resides in Chicago's western suburbs. She shares her home with her soulmate, Mark, her children, Max and Felix, and an unconventional trio of pets - a turtle, a bearded dragon, and a French Bulldog named Fortune. When Shannon's pen is at rest, you can find her racking up miles on her bicycle, getting blank stares from her kids when making any request for assistance, watching scary movies, adventuring on road trips, and not cooking.
