Lia-Mae Kass

My name is Lia-Mae Kass. I’m continuing my journey of writing and illustrating books because it combines my love of art with my love of writing. I especially love sharing books with kids and tweens.

I write and illustrate stories with the goal of fostering empathy and encouraging children to approach others with understanding and compassion, even when faced with unfamiliar or challenging situations. I enjoy writing stories where the characters have understanding hearts and I hope my readers believe in their own value and ability to impact others.

I believe great storytelling has the power to change lives, and sharing our stories can connect us or enlighten us in ways we never dreamed.
