D.J. Wilson

D. J. Wilson lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has traveled extensively both foreign and domestic. Look! I Can Fly, part 1 of her autobiography is her first book, and it's a compilation of stories and events that began at an early age through the age of eighteen. It's a riveting, and in some cases - spine-tingling, and thought-provoking look back at a time in history (the Civil Right Movement (1950s-1960)) that awakened the conscious of a nation. She lived during this period in the Southern part of the United States, which gave her a front row seat and a unique perspective of the period.
