Michelle Harvey

Michelle Harvey and Mason Harvey are a mother-son duo from San Diego, CA. Mason Harvey (co-author/illustrator) is a fierce Crohn's disease advocate and has served as the Mission Speaker in 2021 and emcee/host in 2022 for the Crohn's and Colitis Champions of Hope Gala.Together, Michelle and Mason host their podcast, IBDetermined, to help others suffering from chronic illness. Mason also speaks at bioscience companies, the San Diego Blood Bank, and has been a past spokesperson for the Ronald McDonald House. He runs a business with his parents, Karmatude Candles, to raise money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Michelle Harvey is a business-owner, homeschooler, and advocate for her son and others with Crohn's disease or chronic illness. She has been recognized for her efforts during the pandemic with Congressional Proclamations and recently, Michelle and Mason helped get bill AB 1632 passed into law the state of California.
