Kendall Clawson

Kendall Clawson (she/her) lives in the Pacific Northwest and was the first executive director of Q Center, Oregon’s LGBTQAI+ community center. She has been engaged in nonprofit management for 30+ years and currently works in philanthropy. Kendall believes deeply in the power of community, and that positive change comes from unexpected leaders. Kendall loves to travel and she always returns home with some form of art as a reminder of her journeys. Her favorite piece is a hand-carved boat that she found in a market in Ghana. Kendall enjoys movies, tennis, and she hasn’t met a dog that she didn’t like. In writing this book, Kendall hopes that kids will find Pride within themselves, and will celebrate it all year round!
