Born into a family of painters in Flanders near Antwerp,Belgium.
Vicky Ceelen is the only one of the four children who has not picked up her brush and easel she embarked on a career as model, but soon felt the desire to move to the other side of the lens.
From the 1980's she worked as a fashion photographer for magazines like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar,
Elle, GQ,and many others.
After the birth of her two boys, she invented the concept of parallels between human and animal babies.
Published in 2002, her first book "My Little Man" was a worldwide bestseller.
