Whereas most writers working in the horse racing thriller-fiction genre space tend to write about general crime in a horse racing setting, I try to write about the horse racing crimes, capers, and misdemeanours themselves. It's a choice that makes me err to the shorter novel and novella for my stories. I am currently in the process of writing a series of short novellas and short stories which will be published as they are written, but which will eventually make up into a compendium.
