Jeffrey E Keller MD

Jeffrey E. Keller, MD graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine in Akron, Ohio. He is board certified in emergency medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Correctional Physicians (FACEP). After 25 years of ER work, Dr. Keller transitioned to correctional medicine (care for inmates incarcerated in jails and prisons). He initially provided medical services to several jails and juvenile detention centers in Idaho and subsequently served as the Chief Medical Officer of Centurion LLC., a company that provided medical services to prison inmates in several states. Dr. Keller is a Fellow of the American College of Correctional Physicians (FACCP) and is the recipient of the Armond Start Award of Excellence in the practice of correctional medicine. Since retirement, Dr. Keller has served on the Board of the American College of Correctional Physicians and published The Best of Jail Medicine: An Introduction to Correctional Medicine.
