Pietro Perone

Pietro Perone, journalist, for about 40 years at "Il Mattino" in Naples. He follows the political events of our country, after having dealt with organized crime and followed the investigation into the murder of his colleague Giancarlo Siani which led to the convictions of the instigators and killers. He has always lived in Naples, he knows its extraordinary character but is not afraid to call its tragic contradictions by their name so that memory can serve to build the future. He is the author of the books "Pino Daniele: Naples and the soul of music, from Mascalzone latino to Giogiņ" published by San Paolo, for the same publishing house he published "Don Riboldi 1923-2023, the betrayed courage" dedicated to the figure of the anti-camorra bishop forty years after the first revolt of young people against the mafia.
