As well as writing books about football and its history, Marvin has written and storylined well over 100 hours of broadcast TV in the UK for shows as diverse as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Doctors to children's series Tracey Beaker, 24/7 and House of Anubis. For BBC Radio his writing and producing includes 'Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus'; 'Your Starter For Ten' and 'Where Were You'. A former writer-in-residence at Manchester's Library Theatre, Marvin's stage plays include 'Working', 'Crazy People','Ton of Jollity' and 'Dorothy Parker's Dead'. He lives on the East Yorkshire clifftops in Hornsea.
