Stacey Bowen proudly holds her BS in Organizational Communication from Marshall University and MBA from the University of Charleston, and is the first college graduate of her family. Working her way across the country and up the ranks to financial executive assistant was not only a challenge for Bowen, but a source of inspiration as well. When faced with post-college realities often a shock to recent graduates, Bowen vowed to help others learn from her journey - “failures” and all. Just because she was unprepared for life outside of college, didn’t mean other students had to have the same experience. And thus Things I Wish I Knew was born.
In addition to being a writer, Stacey is a superhero mama, dog mom, coastguard wife, fierce friend, and survivor who believes in fighting for the underdog and giving a voice to the voiceless.
