W. Dick

W. Dick, whose real name is W. Dickopf, was born in Bad Sobernheim. In the course of his career as an electronics technician, project engineer, programmer and master craftsman, he got to know the farcettes of logic, which he lets flow into his books in an artistic guise. A certain inclination towards romanticism and the field of artistic photography, the associated design of images is unmistakable in his pictorial descriptions.

In his first, unpublished work "Kibbutz Europa" in 1987 he takes logical steps ahead of time and creates a world that will take place in 2025 and will already partially become reality in 2020.

Its first publication in 2010 "Stalin Poker" is an exciting and romantic love story that is logically based on the historical events of the Cold War and ultimately inevitably leads to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

In his book "Manolin (2018) he not only creates a homage to Ernest Hemmingway, but also creates a romantically beautiful sequel in the logic of the already known spelling and manages to add another chapter to the world's most famous short story.
