Begrudgingly living in modern day Lincolnshire, UK, instead of the fog-filled streets of Victoriana London, S. L. Wright can often be found squirrelled away in a dark corner with hot chocolate and snacks, furiously scribbling ink down onto paper.
Distracted only by the characters in her head and the constant meows from her ever attention seeking familiar, a black and white tomcat called Baxter, (all of whom provide excellent conversationalists thank you very much), she writes down the stories as the characters dictate them, discovering much of the plot along with the reader, often times just as shocked at the outcome.
Double Duplicity is her first novel.
