Cody Wallace lives to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel. He’s a pastor, speaker, author, disciple-maker, husband, father, and podcaster—but more than anything, he’s a passionate follower of Jesus who believes that God's Word is alive, relevant, and for every person, in every season.

Cody serves as the Senior Pastor of Southwest Community Church in vibrant Miami, Florida. He holds a Master of Divinity (2018) and a Doctorate in Discipleship Ministry (2022) from Liberty University, but his true education has come from walking closely with Jesus through the highs and lows of real life.

Whether in the pulpit or on the page, Cody teaches with clarity and conviction. His writing is simple, heartfelt, and rooted in story—always lifting up the unshakable truth of Scripture. He digs deep into God’s Word, uncovering the beauty and context of the Bible, while making it accessible for everyday faith.

He’s also the founder of Miami Bible Institute, a Bible college and training ground for believers hungry to grow in truth, purpose, and mission.

Cody has been married to his best friend and greatest encourager for over twenty years. They have three incredible kids, one spunky dachshund, and a home full of laughter and grace. Coming from a large, multi-ethnic family, Cody weaves personal stories into his writing that speak to the beauty of God’s redemptive work in every culture and every life.
