Scott Dickerson is a conservation biologist, hunter and gatherer, artist, and designer and maker of fine furniture. He lives on a small organic farm in coastal Maine where he herds muskmelons, celebrates sweet corn, and tends an heirloom fruit orchard. He is also a writer, whose work was first published in Fine Woodworking magazine. His first published book, To Save a River, describes the natural and conservation history of the wild, endangered Atlantic salmon of Maine's Ducktrap River. Telling Stone is his first published novel.
