Emma Murphy is a children’s author with more than 15 years of experience supporting children and families. With both professional expertise and heartfelt personal insight, she writes stories filled with warmth, empathy, and hope. Her work is especially shaped by her experience in child bereavement, supporting children with autism and dyslexia, and many years working within foster care which gives her stories depth and understanding.

When she is not writing, Emma can usually be found enjoying family life, wandering through the countryside, or throwing endless balls for her dog, Merlin. A lover of nature and wildlife, she brings a sprinkle of wonder, kindness, and above all her personal experiences to every story she tells.
