Don Neufeld, MSW, RSW, has been a social worker for over 30 years, first in child welfare and then since 2010 in private practice as a therapist. Though not exclusively so, a bulk of the practice has focused on men in their journeys individually and in relationships, addressing a broad range of matters including mental health, fathering, relationships, addictions, and violence. Don has been on the board of Mennonite Men since 2013 and is current the Canadian Coordinator. Don has a specific interest in the convergence of clinical and theological thought in relation to men’s well-being. He has written and spoken about these interests, including the initiating of Peaceful at Heart: Anabaptist Reflections on Healthy Masculinity (2019) that he co-edited with Steve Thomas. He is pursuing a Master of Theology degree at Conrad Grebel University College since the fall of 2021. He is married to Gayle, and they have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and two wonderful grandsons, Rowan and Kayden! Don and Gayle live in Virgil, Ontario.
