Russell Webb was born in a suburb on the outskirts of East London within the county of Essex. As an adult he moved away but kept his connections with his hometown, serving the community by working as a London Firefighter for over thirty years.
He never planned to become an author, however, he found writing about his experiences as a child and later the untimely death of his wife really helped with his grieving process. He hopes that his story will help others to talk about their grief and loved ones and maybe even encourage them to put pen to paper as he did.
It's okay not to be okay.
