Jonathan Neves Mayers

Jonathan Neves Mayers is a fantasy author from just outside of London, born to a British mother and a Bajan father. From an early age, he was captivated by fantasy and science fiction, spending countless hours engrossed in books and films that would later inspire his own writing.

Although his creative interests initially led him to music - playing the flute at a music school for several years, studying a Music degree at Cardiff University, writing his dissertation on Radiohead and playing bass guitar and keyboard in a few bands - his love of storytelling and escaping into other worlds never faded. Eventually, he decided to write something he wanted to publish.

Jonathan still lives just outside of London with his wife Cláudia, their children Megan and Nathan and their wonderful, never-troublesome dog Suki. When not writing, he can usually be found trying to learn Portuguese, attempting to play the guitar or chasing after Suki.
