Manoella Buffara

Recognized the Best Latin America’s Female Chef in 2022 by 50Best, Manoella “Manu” Buffara is a Brazilian chef based in Curitiba, southern Brazil. In the recent years the chef boasts a collection of national and international prizes and honors as number 21 in The Best Chef Awards worldwide ranking and chef and owner of restaurant number 49 in the list of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants (both in 2021), a fixed juror since 2019 of the Basque Culinary Center, and one of the stars of the last four versions of the Gelinaz chefs’ collective. At the moment besides her restaurant Manu, in Curitiba, she also runs a pop restaurant at Soneva Resort in the Maldives Islands. MANU is her first book.
