Elise Williams

Hello fellow readers. I'm Elise Williams, and I love writing travel‑romance adventures - or, as I like to call them, “where rom‑com meets travel guide.” As my collections grow, so do my themes and style, but travel and love remain at the heart of everything I write.

My stories tend to flow from country to continent. My first novel, AN AUSSIE AFFAIR, is set in Australia, and as I continue exploring the world, I hope many more stories will follow.

My current work in progress, THE JERSEY TO MADEIRA CONNECTION, is in the editing phase and will hopefully be available on Amazon this SUMMER 2026.

Next on my list is a loosely plotted adventure titled THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT RHODES.

Inspiration

During a solo trip to Naples and Rome in August 2024, I found myself captivated by both cities. Rome is iconic and incomparable - but it was Naples, with its ancient streets, gritty charm, and chaotic beauty beneath the shadow of mighty Vesuvius, that truly stole my heart. The birthplace of the Margherita pizza and a hub of Italian gastronomy, Naples set all my senses alight. From that experience came the inspiration for another novel: There’s Something About Naples.

My Aim

Beyond my simple love of writing, I hope to entertain readers with realistic, relatable situations - the kind that make you pause and wonder, “What would I do?”

If my stories also encourage you to book that flight, explore a new place, or chase your own travel dream, then I’ve done my job.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me surrounded by books, rambling through the Lancashire countryside, or planning my next escape to somewhere warmer.

Marketing doesn’t come naturally, and it often distracts me from the writing I adore - but I do try! You can find me on Instagram at author_elise_williams_.

I’ve also taken part in an author interview for The Table Read online magazine, and in August 2025 I was interviewed on a local Lancashire radio station about my writing and publishing journey with Amazon. I can honestly say I haven’t been that nervous since my driving test!
