Bradly Kenney

Rev Bradly Michael Kenney is the Founder and Executive Director of Soccer Chaplains United. The long-time (since 2002) volunteer chaplain of the Colorado Rapids, Brad has a burden and passion to pastorally care for the wonderful people who are part of the Beautiful Game.

Before going to theological school, Brad worked in media relations for the Rapids. He has served as a hospice chaplain and as a pastoral care pastor at two mega-churches in the suburbs of Denver. He currently serves full-time to undertake the work of Soccer Chaplains United.

As a volunteer, Brad raises his salary and support from individual donors and a few, partner churches. His time is also given to the discovery and development of other chaplains in soccer throughout North America with hopes to grow the work as God leads—wherever soccer teams exist around the world.

Married to wife Adriana, the couple have four daughters. Brad enjoys spending time with the family, kicking around a soccer ball, playing disc golf, volleyball, camping, playing board games, and learning the nuances of a backyard garden game called Kubb. He dreams of one day playing his acoustic guitar and speaking Spanish with greater proficiencies.
