Mrs Amber Hill

Dr. Amber Hill, an award -winning educator and author, has spent over 22 years inspiring and encouraging individuals to recognize their inherent greatness. When people see greatness in themselves, they shine brightly and soar in our world. She is currently one of the Columbus City Schools Climate and Culture Systems Coordinators. She works with schools to build their culture and climate, ensuring everyone entering their spaces obtains a great learning experience.Through her company, Epiphany Hill Enterprises LLC, she has become a prominent vendor in various communities, ensuring young learners have access to diverse children's literature and exposing them to early learning skills. Not only will the books support bridging the gaps in early learning, but they will also build self-esteem and foster the joy of reading for our youngest learners. These opportunities allow her to engage and educate parents, guardians, educators, and adults about exposing our youth to diverse literature. She excels in providing professional development to educators and organizations on various subjects, including positive behavior intervention supports (PBIS), early childhood education (ECE), family and community engagement, climate and culture, social-emotional learning (SEL), restorative practices (RP), transformative leadership, trauma-informed care, and more. Her infectious positivity empowers others to embrace their authentic selves.

She is known for inspiring and empowering others to be their best version and having a positive attitude that allows others to shine and be their authentic selves. Amber is also a Wife, a Mother of 4 amazing young men, a Foster Mom to many, a Coach, and a Mentor. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood/K-3 Education from Wright State University, an M.S.E. in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Dayton, a Teacher Leadership Endorsement (TLE) from Ohio State University, and an EdD in P-20 Education from Walden University. Amber has published several children’s books and coloring books and is a NAEYC award winner, 5 Star Step up to Quality award winner, Education 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award winner, Author Spotlight/Panelist at the Excellence Black Tie Gala in Columbus, Ohio, and a featured speaker at many author and speaker events across the country. Additionally, she has had the honor becoming one of Les Brown’s legendary speakers. She is a shining example of educational excellence and dedication. Her diverse roles and experiences enrich her perspective, making her a relatable and inspiring figure in world. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., further demonstrating her commitment to community and service.
