Benjamin Abrams (PhD) is a British academic and author, who writes on revolutions, resistance, protest and social change. He received his PhD, MPhil and a BA/MA from the University of Cambridge (King’s College). He is Associate Professor of Sociology at University College London (UCL).
Abrams is the author of three books: THE RISE OF THE MASSES, SYMBOLIC OBJECTS IN CONTENTIOUS POLITICS; and THE SCIENCES OF THE DEMOCRACIES. He is also chief editor of the scholarly journal, CONTENTION.
