Hamster HQ is a book which I was inspired to write about Fluffy our family hamster. He lived in our playroom and we would occasionally find him out of his cage, collecting anything that he thought would be useful. He was, genuinely, a wonderful hamster. Being nocturnal he was quite noisy at our bedtime. My children were convinced that he had a secret life and eventually I wrote Hamster HQ to try to explain what I thought all of the noise was about!
