Crystal Thomas

I was raised in southeast Missouri, in a region of true southern divide. Having no guidance from a loving family and overcoming the trials of abuse & neglect, I found myself facing the struggles of life alone. Subdued to domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, survival became priority in order to raise my children. I chose to put my frustration toward furthering my education so that I could accomplish my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner.

I share my story to inspire others to never give up hope. I’ve now found my voice within my silence.

My goal is to continue to educate myself on every aspect of life in order to inspire, educate, and be the voice for others that has been silenced for far too long.
