Baye Hunter

Baye Hunter has taught English since 1988, in Toronto, Canada, Melbourne, Australia and Hong Kong. She has taught every age and every level of student from kindergarten to adults from literacy, to intermediate and advanced. She worked with engineers, IT and medical professionals in the Enhanced Language Training program. She has also been a CLBPT assessor, assessing all 4 skill areas (reading, writing, listening and speaking), and has experience with IELTS, MELA and CELBAN. In her spare time, you can usually find her outside, biking, hiking, sailing, kayaking, painting or dancing to Zumba.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in Spanish and Latin American Studies plus a Bachelor of Education and TESL Certificate as well as certification in several speaking exams. She speaks 5 languages fluently. With the combination of teaching and assessing experience, she has a solid foundation in language teaching.
