John McGuire

John McGuire is Director of Private Land Fire at Tall Timbers. Prior to that, he worked for over a decade in the billion dollar ecological restoration industry. He has run outreach programs for a non-profit organization tasked with restoring longleaf pine forests. He received his BS degrees from Washington State University and a MS from Auburn University. He's a certified forester, wildlife biologist and senior ecologist. He is also a certified burn manager in GA, FL, AL and MS.
