Welcome to my world of horses. I invite you to explore my first book series, Elvis the Pony. Elvis the Pony has been a member of our family for 12 years and stories about Elvis the Pony are legend. His stories explore parts of the horse world in his adventure books; themes of friendship, values, and making good choices evolve in the Elvis the Pony Tales books; the Elvis the Pony Learns series are for ages 1 to 5 (preschool) and present topics such as ABCs, numbers, colors, and other basic lessons appropriate for the age group.

As a born horse lover, I have thirty years of experience as a horse trainer, riding instructor, Iowa Horse Fair presenter, and Equestrian director. My goal with the Elvis the Pony series is to share my love and knowledge of the horse world with my own kids as well as all those animal and horse loving kids out there!

With a Masters degree in English as well as an MBA in Human Resource Management, I am a 20 year veteran teacher with experience as a public educator and college professor. 

I strive to make the world a better and kinder place through my actions, writings, and beliefs in both my personal and professional life.
