Rick Gray

After completing degrees at the M. Div., Th. M. and Ph. D. levels in Christian Leadership and serving as National Director for Ethnic Leadership Development for both the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization and World Vision US Ministries, Dr. Gray came to Asbury Seminary in the fall of 1999 and helped establish the institutions Master of Arts in Christian Leadership. In addition to his service at Asbury Seminary, Dr. Gray served as Executive Director of The Obsidian Society an organization committed to the development and training of our nations Christian leaders of color. Dr. Gray is an ordained minister who has received numerous community service awards including an award from the United States Congress. His professional writing interests revolve around Evangel the Smallest Angel, Christian Leadership, Urban Ministry and African American Leadership emergence. He and his wife (Coral) make their home in Orlando Florida.
