Dingding Hu

Dingding Hu is an artist, writer, and performer, and she has worked as a commercial artist for global brands such as Google, Disney, and Sephora. She is the author of the seek and find book “Delicious Daydreams”, published by Chronicle Books, and she is the host of “The Not Too Late Show”, where she shares “self-help” insights through an immersive comedy experience.

Dingding grew up in China and immigrated to the US to pursue an MFA degree at Maryland Institute College of Art. She established a successful creative career in New York City, with recognitions from Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. She has also led public art projects commissioned by the Department of Transportation as well as designed campaigns for Instagram / Meta as an empowerment for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

With a decade of experience as an illustrator, Dingding is a master of cultivating aesthetic magic with color, as well as writing articles on the subject matter. As an artist with synesthesia, Dingding is on a quest to infuse her love for visual, music and comedy into one cohesive expression and redefine the possibilities of live performance.
