Kevin Parr is a writer, angler, and amateur naturalist. His books include 'An Unnatural History of Britain', 'Woodlore', 'The Quiet Moon' and the critically acclaimed 'Rivers Run'. He is a regular contributor to BBC CountryFile Magazine and Podcast, long-time angling correspondent to 'The Idler' magazine, and has written for 'The Telegraph', 'The Independent' and 'Caught by the River' among others. He is deputy editor of 'Fallon's Angler' and lives in West Dorset with his wife and a colony of grass snakes a few paces from the back gate.
