Mary Kottwitz

Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, Mary Kottwitz has always had a love for stories, music, movies, and the worlds found between the pages of a good book. An avid reader as well as a writer, she believes there is nothing quite like getting lost in a world—whether she is discovering someone else’s or creating one of her own.

Writing has grown into one of Mary’s greatest passions, with inspiration coming from many of the things closest to her heart. Music is never far from her writing and often becomes the soundtrack behind the characters, emotions, and worlds she brings to life.

When she isn’t writing or curled up with a good book, Mary treasures time with the people who mean the most to her—her daughter and son, her family, and the friends who have become family along the way.

And, of course, there is Nova Li, her beloved Chihuahua and tiny four-legged companion, who holds a very big place in her heart.

Mary enjoys writing supernatural fiction, supernatural romance, fantasy romance, and horror, while also branching out and trying her hand at children’s stories. She welcomes friendly, respectful feedback from readers and loves connecting with those who share her passion for books, characters, and storytelling.
