Jon M. Van Dine

Jon holds a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary (Portland, OR), and a Doctor of Ministry from Biola University. He with his wife, Teresa have served churches in four different denominations in Iowa, Nebraska, Southern California, and Arizona. Since 2019 Jon has served as an intentional interim pastor with Interim Pastor Ministries.

Their Arizona ministry was in a retirement community where, over the course of seven years, they discovered the dominant cultural influences shaping the attitudes and plans of those born between 1946 and 1964. Most of these influences undermine a life of discipleship. They seek to help people understand that there is a preferred future which no Certified Financial Planner can promise, if we continue to follow Jesus through the Encore stage of life.

He is recognized as a very effective Bible teacher and expositor. He has an ability to make complex concepts understandable. His preaching style connects the depths of God’s Word to the practical realities of life.

His personal goal is to prepare people to stand before God with confidence and joy.
