I received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1973, a Computer Career Program Certification from DePaul University in 1986, and completed 3 graduate MIS courses.
Summary of Experience:
December 2013 to December 2020
Senior Financial Analyst at Transformco (formerly Sears) – Provided data from Financial Systems to Controllers in order to justify General Ledger accounting entries. Provided auditors with data from Business Objects to reconcile store sales account postings.
Spearheaded a project to guide IT in moving the Sears Point of Sale General Ledger feed from a legacy mainframe application to Peoplesoft.
1987 to 2013
Software Engineer
As part of an IT team, I helped develop and support the Sears Invoice Processing System, Accounts Payable, and Facilities Information and Planning System.
I retired from Sears (Transformco) in December of 2020. I am currently a Special Needs part time school bus driver
And a tennis instructor in the western suburbs of Chicago.
