Linus Oak grew up in one of the wildest areas in Spain, daydreaming about rabbits and wild boars. He grew increasingly worried about the impacts of humans on nature. Out of this concern he developed a research career to find ways to protect nature while allowing humans to live a good life. Linus has researched in different continents and has been blessed to work with some of the best scientists of our time. Yet, Linus felt that the most important people, children, were not reached by his science. Linus tries, in his spare time, to fill this void and to fulfill the dream of his 8-years-old self of writing books. In his books he blends science, magic and a deep longing for old memories embedded in Spanish forests. While not researching, Linus enjoys drawing stories in the air for his two children.
