my brief biography
My name is Roberto da Silva Rocha, I was born in the city of Rio de Janeiro on December 10, 1955, at the Central Hospital of the Army, son of the then Sergeant of the Army Sebastião Marques da Rocha, evangelical, in the weapon of a bureaucrat, serving in the Headquarters of the Army located in the neighborhood of São Cristóvão, and resident in the neighborhood of Rocha, son of Liseth da Silva Rocha, from Bahia who arrived in Rio de Janeiro from Arembepe in Salvador, Bahia, evangelical of the Baptist church in Irajá, São Francisco Xavier, had more three brothers, the eldest Henrique César, was born on September 23, 1953, sister Tânia Janete was born in February 1957, the youngest was born in 1963 in Rio de Janeiro, his name was Renato da Silva Rocha, known as Negrete , former bassist of the band Legião Urbana founded with Renato Russo, Marcelo Bonfá and Eduardo Villa Lobos, all from Brasilia, where the band emerged and where we moved in 1970 because of an exchange from my father who came in place of another military designated p to serve in the Army barracks at the Ministry of the Army in Brasilia.
I arrived at the age of 14 in Brasilia, to leave the Capital in 1990, when I went to live with my famous brother, a celebrity in the biggest and most famous Brazilian rock band precisely in the year that my famous brother left the band Legião Urbana.
I stayed in Rio de Janeiro on a farm in the municipality of Mendes for a year when I returned to Brasilia to be head of IT for the Federal District government at the Urban Cleaning Service, in the PT government elected to be governor of the Federal District, the dean from UnB University of Brasília Cristóvam Buarque, cousin of the architect who designed the main architectural monuments of the Praça do Três Poderes Oscar Niemeyer.
I studied at the University of Brasilia, where I studied Statistics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, and Political Science since 1979, completing the Political Science course and Master's in Political Science in 2000.
I was a technician for Planning and Socio-Economic Research at IPEA, where I advised the President of the Republic Fernando Henrique Cardoso, as established in IPEA's constitution, which is to advise the President of the Republic and his vice-president, all Ministers of State.
I was a university professor at UnB, Universidade de Brasília, I was a professor at the IESB Faculty of Law, I was a professor of more than 20 different disciplines at the UNEB faculty, I was a professor of informatics at the Michelângelo faculty, I was a temporary professor of Chemistry and Physics at the schools of High School or Basic Education in Brasília in the Lago Sul neighborhood, and in the city of Águas Lindas de Goiás in Goiás at the Princesa Daiane schools and at the Paulo Freire school.
I was a co-founder of the Brasília-based workers' party, co-founder of the CUT in Brasília and the Union of Public Service Workers in Brasília Sindsep, and of the National Confederation of Federal Servants CONDSEF.
I started my professional life in the Federal Chamber of Deputies in the office of the federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro Eduardo Galil, then at SERPRO as a computer programmer, then I went to work through a public tender where I passed in first place at the FNS National Health Foundation as a programmer computer, after a passage through the Federal Senate as a programming intern, I went to work as a programmer at the CNPQ National Council for Scientific Research, and later invited to work at CODEVASF Companhia de Desenvolvimento do Vale do rio São Francisco.
After working at SLU DF, I was approved in the public competition for computer programmer at the TST Superior Labor Court, and then I was applied to IPEA.
After this stable union I moved to Vitória Espírito Santo after separating from the last Wife I married at the registry office, Marenilde -, 30 years old and three children - who with three days of marriage we separated and I returned to my mother's house in 2005 , to separate permanently in 2010, when I returned from the city of Vitória to Brasília, where I joined the Government of the Federal District as an advisor to the Secretary of Cities as an advisor for the Participatory Budget program, when I returned to IPEA by court order of reintegration into service audience from which I was removed for not agreeing to participate in President FHC's socialist project in 2000.
