Parker Harrison is a retired entrepreneur and author of Princess Oni, a fantasy for Middle Grade readers ages 9 to 12. Her first love of literature was Kid Lit from her early elementary years. Some of those books are still her favorites today. Parker's interest in writing for children began as a public school teacher, continued as a homeschooling mom, and grew through affiliation with Compassion, International.
A pioneer of the modern homeschooling movement, Parker helped facilitate a program for home educated students at her church and also taught writing classes. Today, her children are teaching their children.
She furthered her writing career through Jerry B. Jenkins's two-year Christian Writers Apprenticeship program and Your Novel Blueprint course, as well as further continuing education.
Parker loves to encourage others in their identity as a child of God. She writes to leave a legacy to her nine and counting grandchildren, but considers it a privilege to share Biblical truth with others through her fiction. Like the old hermit in the woods, she believes every little boy is a prince and every girl a princess... and wants all to know.
