Bill Sampson

Bill Sampson served as a Judge Advocate with the United States Navy before returning to Kansas for private practice. After a legal career trying and managing cases, teaching, and leading professional organizations throughout the country, he retired from the courtroom and now lives in Lawrence with his wife, Dru. Their three children and seven grandchildren live in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Moscow, Idaho. Wheat Fields is his first novel.
