William Lin

Will Lin is an investor, founder, and mentor who believes the best careers are built through knowledge, generosity, and strong networks. Over the course of a decade in venture capital, including as Managing Director at Forgepoint Capital, he invested in and advised cybersecurity and enterprise technology companies. He also founded a cybersecurity startup and has helped build communities that support emerging talent in tech and investing.

Will wrote The VC Field Guide to share the frameworks, lessons, and practical advice he wishes more people had earlier in their careers. His goal is to help readers better understand venture capital, make smarter decisions, and create more opportunities for themselves and others.
