Dayana Benavides

Dayana Benavides Briceño is a Venezuelan writer and journalist, with a degree in Social Communication. The convulsive situation in her country led her to settle in Costa Rica, where she was selected to participate in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 National Reading Festival.

His stories are satires of the present and past world with overtones of chronicle, seasoned with the magic of fiction and a touch of humor. She is one of the new female voices in Latin American literature with an innovative, fresh and contemporary narrative. Some are books Los Geniales, Cuentos locos para cuerdos and La voz. Some of his published stories are El Hechizo (Historias para los más pequeños - Editorial Ipapedi), Deseo (Bajo la Piel. Volume #1 - Store of dreams), Desde lo alto (Escuela Viva - La Revista Notitarde), La fuerza de la atracción (Bicirelatos), El reflejo (Cisne Magazine), among others.

It is dedicated, through its page, to promoting new talents through "El Cuento Creativo" promoting literary creation in Spanish in an accessible way for all.
