Michele LaMar-Thomas

Michele LaMar-Thomas writes poetry that touches on the human experience, such as faith, love, struggle, redemption, and victory. Writing a book was always on her bucket list, and eventually, with "Brown Girl Rising: A Poetry Memoir", it became a reality. "Surrounded by His Grace: Embracing the Power of God's Love", is her second book.

A recently retired public school teacher with a Master's in TESOL, Michele enjoys her time as a caregiver. When not writing, she loves spending time with family, volunteering at the community food bank, church ministry, and traveling. She lives in Ohio with her devoted husband of thirty-five years.
