Peter Chiaramonte

Peter Chiaramonte is an author, independent scholar, professor and administrator in higher education—with more than 30 years experience as a University Professor, Graduate Studies Director, and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

A graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of California at Santa Barbara, Dr. Chiaramonte was the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Georgian American University in Tbilisi, Georgia; Associate Professor and Director of two Master’s Degree Programs in Organizational Leadership at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and Chapman University San Diego; and has been a full-time professor at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and at the Kenneth Rowe School of Management at Dalhousie University, Halifax

Peter published his first novel in 2015, No Journey’s End. He has four textbooks on interpersonal communications in management, writing in organizations, and organizational behaviour in a global context to his credit—and more than a dozen publications in refereed academic journals—including the Canadian Journal of Higher Education, Education Review, Workplace Review, Journal of Management Systems, Business Quarterly, British Journal of Guidance and Counseling, and the Canadian Journal of Communication.

In addition to acting as a curriculum development consultant to several universities in the U.S., Canada, and abroad—Peter has consulted on leadership and organization dynamics with such groups as the US Environmental Protection Agency (Raleigh, NC), Prentice Hall Canada Inc.
